What this blog collects
When you contact us: if you use the contact form or email us, we receive the name, email address, and message you send, so we can reply. We keep those messages only as long as needed to help you.
Standard server logs: like most websites, our host records basic technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) to keep the site secure and running. This is not used to profile you.
Analytics: we may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to see which guides are useful. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not sell any data.
Cookies
The blog uses a small number of functional cookies (for example, page caching to load faster). We do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Who we share it with
We rely on a few trusted providers to run the blog — our web host and, if you use the contact form, the form/email service that delivers your message to us. Each only processes what it needs to do its job. We may disclose information if required by law. We never sell your data.
Your choices

The roostreply app
The follow-up emails agents send with roostreply, the leads they collect, and their accounts are governed by our product privacy policy, not this page. Every follow-up email we send on an agent’s behalf includes a working unsubscribe link and a physical mailing address, as required by the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act.

If we make meaningful changes, we’ll update the effective date above.
